SensorLog App Reviews

Very cool!

While there is some room for improvement, if you want to explore what can be done with the data from a compact package of sensors, this will help you get started!

Great, especially for a free app.

Just as you cannot take pictures with older iPod Touches, dont expect the app to chart info if it doesnt have the appropriate sensors. Its like trying to use a geo-caching app. Using a device without GPS. *Dictated but not read*

Great UI and Gives All the Info You Need!

This app will send you a .csv file of all of the internal sensors raw data. It performs stably for me, and the program itself is well-designed. Its definitely my favorite of the sensor apps!!

Awesome App.

I use it to calculate precise takeoff distances in my airplane. Its very difficult to judge how many feet you use on a runway for takeoff. With this app, I just turn it in when I pull out on the runway and turn it off about 500 AGL. Then I get it back on my computer and massage the data. Great app!!!

Works well

This app does exactly what I need it for and works very well. The only thing that could be added is a way to label what you are measuring at the time, so you know later when you need to send it.

Love it!

Love this app and all the info it tells you about your phone. One thing that would make this app even better is display optimization for the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus as well as incorporating the new barometer sensor in the new iPhone to the app.

Convenient access to sensor data

It is exactly what I wanted, a simple way to record sensor data and export it. I have used it on the iPhone 5 and now the iPhone 6 plus, and it worked flawlessly on both.

Crash

Wont run on iOS 8.1

No longer functions (iOS 8.3)

Title says it all.

Easy to use; simple interface; just works - no hassles

I downloaded this app to measure ride quality of my bus ride. It took like 5 minutes to figure this app. Crazily cool!

Totally unusable & dev ignores support requests

This seems like it should be an amazingly useful app. It has tons of options and has instrumented the entirety of the interesting sensors in the iPhone. Unfortunately none of that is worth anything because theres no way to get the resulting data files off of the phone. The email system doesnt work for any file larger than a few hundred KB and the http system resets the default sample to 1 second which makes the sample worthless. Additionally the developer completely ignores all requests for help.

No frills data gathering :)

Some minor issues/suggestions • optional data gathering in the background (I realise this might have a severe limitation in the update frequency) • more visible digits for the barometric pressure sensor; since there are few UI elements on the ALT page, four digits after the decimal point would still fit perfectly well

Does what it claims

It could use some better (any) documentation for those of us not already familair with the various data fields.
